"Strategically located" "within walking distance of the convention center", this "huge" two-tower Downtown complex "right on the marina" features "grand views of the harbor", "beautiful rooms" and "helpful", "friendly" service; while the hotel can seem "even wilder than the San Diego Animal Park" during a convention, some guests escape by "walking to the famous Gaslamp Quarter", blowing off steam on the tennis courts or relaxing in the top-floor bar while "catching the sunset."

We booked on Priceline and our checkout bill was $0 and they still treated us like a King and Queen. Gave us special room requirements on request. A+
Parking fee, buffet breakfast was too expensive and had no omelet bar.
Beautiful lobby, beautiful view, staff was exceedingly gracious and helpful, A+ experience.

Towels were awful (pool towels, maybe), to ask to get them, too.
Not up to the Hyatt standard and certainly not 4 star. Due for both a hard and soft good replacement.

Rooms were dated; no drink bar refrig; no q-tips/cotton in bathroom; towels were definitely not 4 star.
The lobby was upscale and the rooms were dated. $28 for self-parking is expensive. (almost 1/2 of what I paid for the room on Priceline.com!)
